Taxco Vintage Mayan Calendar Necklace, Sterling Silver and Turquoise, Enameled Pendant

Taxco Vintage Mayan Calendar Pendant Necklace with beautiful rectangle link chain and box clasp. Pendant and each link has pieces of resin enameled inlaid turquoise. The pendant has a Xiuhpohualli design. 

  • Size: Chain is 18 1/2" long and 5/16" wide. Pendant is 1 1/8" in diameter.
  • Type: Pre Owned Retro Vintage from the 1970's. 
  • Condition: Slightly darkened patina with good working clasp. All enamel and stone pieces intact. 
  • Materials: Sterling silver, resin, turquoise gemstone chips.
  • Markings: Marking is stamped a bit too far on the right on the clasp so it reads 925 Mexic TA-4. As the O is missing in Mexico, it is also possible there is an additional number not showing after the 4. 
  • Weight: 51.1 grams.
