Harvey Avedon 1950's Celsius and Fahrenheit Vintage Cufflinks, Round Whale Back Novelty Cuff Links

Fun pair of novelty cufflinks by Harvey Avedon in the late 1950's. They are thermometer cufflinks with one showing Celsius and the other showing Fahrenheit. Great conversational pieces.

• Size: 7/8" in size.
• Type: Pre Owned Mid Century Vintage from the 1950's. 
• Condition: The plastic front coverings have slightly dulled and yellowed from age, but the cufflinks can be easily read. Lever backs in good working condition. Thermometer readings do seem to change with change in temperature, but they change rather slowly. 
• Materials: Gold tone plated metal, plastic, thermometers. 
• Markings: Marked Pat 2920363 on the back of the levers.
