Taxco 940 Silver Vintage Abalone Screw Back Earrings

These Mid Century earrings have lovely Inlaid abalone shell fronts with 940 Mexican silver settings. Great for Summer wear.

• Size: 1 1/8" x 3/4" in size.
• Type: Pre Owned Mid Century Vintage from the 1940's. 
• Condition: Very darkened patina on the metal. Small areas of verdigris on backs just inside the screw area as seen in photos. Screw backs in good working condition. You can see the lines separating the different pieces of abalone and as they are natural shell they're not completely smooth. Abalone has good color and flash in well lit conditions.
• Materials: 940 Mexican silver alloy, abalone shell.
• Markings: Marked Taxco Mexico 940 and has the Taxco logo symbol. Marking on other earring is mostly unreadable.
